Tilt Factor
Rick,Something to avoid - older boats like mine only had one table "leg" on the inboard side. It was positioned in the center of the inboard edge in order to allow people to slide their legs in and out of the salon more easily. The down side is obvious - once you start to lean on the table or weight it too much on either of the front corners, it literally tilts and falls over. There are a number of fixes to this - many are listed here, some in the Catalina Direct or Catalina 22 Association technical pubs. I am unsure which is best, and have yet to modify my table - but it is on my "to do" list.Scott
