I have a warning buzzer below the yanmar B-type instrument panel externally screwed into the cockpit - what is the purpose of that buzzer? It also has a toggle switch attached.

Just a guess, on our Hunter 33 we have a buzzer at the insturment panel that is for the bilge high water alarm. There is also a toggle switch that has two positions I think they are "on" and "override" these are for the automatic fire extinguiser engine cut off. hope this helps.
Don
Is it in addition to the normal buzzer floating behind the panel?
When does it go off (if ever)? Oil and alternator come on with the key "ON" and the engine not running so if you don't hear then it it has to be bilge or cooling water to hot.
