Buying advice for a 1988 240

Hello, I am new to this but am close to buying a 1988 Oday 240 with many extra's. Just wanted some advice on what to look for in the 240 and what your thoughts were on sailing charactaristics, quality and safety of these boats.

good solid boat. I have a 75 oday 25 and its built very strong and sails well. Just chexck it out good, maybe spring for a survey if really interested. Patrick
