Setting up your R-26
George,
I sailed/raced my R-26 for one season before I made changes to the runniung rigging. I am really happy with the set up. Send me your email and I will shot some photos over. I used Gaurhauer blocks and rope clutches as they are very well built while at the same time half the price of the competition. The standing rigging is also new which allows us to crank on the back stay going to weather. I also spent a lot of time fairing the hull, keel, and rudder. The result is that my ranger makes high 5 knot to low 6 knot figures up wind and often runs mid 6's to low 7's off without the chute.
