I'm buying a C&C 34 and will be having it surveyed. Any suggestions of what I should have the surveyor look at specifically with regard to the C&C34? Heard they have had balsa core issues? Anything else... Thanks

I owned one for 4 years. Nice boats. decent speed. Pretty. But not much room for a 34 footer.
Deck and hull are cored, and both have a history of getting wet. Water in the hull is a deal killer. Deck may be depends on how much and where.
c&c gelcoat Faded badly. An original red one will now be pink.
Check sails. Often uses a huge 155% genoa that requires a dedicated pearson to run the clew around the babystay. We found 135 on a roller much more manageable.
