Buss Bars-Confused

I am in the process of moving my connections from the batteries to Dist. Buss Bars. I have a 400a House Bank with 2/0 wire. On the POS side I will be using Blue Seas Power Buss rated at 600a continuous--no problem. However on the negative side, I can only find Bus Bars with 250a continuous rating.
I wanted to use the same size BB on both sides, using the same logic that dictates you use the same wire size for POS and NEG when completing the battery circuit. I understand that the NEG side shouldn't carry any current unless something is wrong, but I would think that since the BB becomes a part of the circuit, they should be consistent. I really don't want to swap out my 5/16 lugs for 3/8's to use a Power Buss on the Neg side if I can help it. What am I missing? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks...

You don't need a 600A continuous rated bus bar. Use 250's on + and - and you'll be fine. The intermittent rating is far more than you need and you'll never even see 250A continuous... .
