# 2 is good way, but I can grab the shaft with fingers against the dripless and like roll them aft. That pushes in the front of the dripless untill water comes out, so gets the same results as the squeeze. B323.

It doesn't deflect much at all when squeezed, but just that little bit should be enough to let the air out and water through. Be sure to squeeze the front most end or just aft of that and it should start to trickle.
