The right hand propane burner on the gimbled stove that came with my Catalina 270 will not stay lit after it is ignited with the sparkler that is part of the stove. Any thoughts as to why? My wife and I suppect a bad sensor on the burner and are not sure what to do,or where to even look for parts. Any suggestions or advise please.

Hello

Have you tried to hold the knob in a little longer. Sometimes the burner has to get warmed up a bit. I hold mine in for about 4 or five seconds. Try longer , if it still goes out most of the stuff on the stove looks the same as a barb. Go to your local propane shop and see what they have to say. Good luck.

Maybe the heat sensor is burnt out

The little ceramic coated heat probe that is almost resting on the burner itself may be burnt out. If after a few seconds you see that the little metal prong is glowing red but the burner still goes out that may need to be replaced. Stan "Christy Leigh" c320 #656
