You voted, and the winner was clear: the last of Bob Poff's designs, shown below. Congrats to Bob, we'll figure out some suitably nice prize for his efforts. Meanwhile, this design will go into production and look for it soon in the chandlery. Thanks to all who participated!

Congratulations Bob.

I still think the boat should be facing the other direction. Frank

not true, it IS facing the correct direction

The sailboat is sailing into available space instead of into a vertical line, otherwise it would be a very short distance not to mention that the pennant would be blowing with the wind and the sailboat should be sailing with the wind behind her to give it the proper appearance (you will note that the Genoa is full which would indicate it is on a run. Thats my opinion and I'm stickin' to it.

Looks like a great burgee

I would second the idea about the boat facing the other direction...up wind. With the burgee streaming out, shouldn't the burgee boat be in the same direction as the actual sailboat??? Just my 2 cents worth...

Burgee

Add me to the list of purchasers. Just let me know when they will be available and the cost. By-the-way what are the dimensions of the burgee/ I only have a small 22' sailboat to fly it on. Good job? Novelman, Duane Beaver

Well Geez....

I'm glad to see people liked the idea. Thank you for all the good comments. Although I can't entirely claim the credit. Someone else originally came up with the blue tips, and swoosh. I dropped in the sailboat that I grabbed somewhere on the site on top of it. All in all it's a great example of working together. And yes... there will be one flying on my H34 this coming summer.
