I think I may have a problem? I just noticed last weekend that my bulkhead on the starboard side between the salon and the head has separated from the top corner of the cabin liner/this section is not fiberglassed to the cabin. I don't know how long I have been sailing it like this. I just noticed it when I was replacing the closed ports in my boat. Is this something that could damage the boat if I continue to sail her. I checked the deck topside and there is no flexing. Has this happened to anyone out their? Can it be fixed and if so would it be costly. I would appreciate any advice or info on this. THANKS Randy

I would bet delam

Randy You might want to check additional areas of the bulkhead for movement, like the port side and bottoms. In addition, I would check for delam on the outside against to the bulkhead. If this is delaminated, it could be bulging outward making the gap you notice. The top section has minor structural value in the design or it would be tabbed to the inner liner. You might want to check the mast post for compression or other defects if you are very worried. I looked at mine and there are some minor gaps in both corners about 1/16”.
