Please help, this squeak is driving me crazy. While sailing or on the mooring my 28 ft O'Day sounds like the Kon Tiki. I feel the noise is coming from the bulkhead rubbing against the glass cabin roof. I have tried stuffing the space with window strip insulation, but it just gets jettisoned out.. Any suggestions would be helpful.

On a similar design boat that had 'flanged' bulkheads that 'squeeked', I used to use McLube - a dry sail track / sail slug lubricant.

Just attach the supplied 'teeny red tube' to the spray can and 'shoot' the McLube into the flange (both sides of the fiberglass flange) with the intention of lubricating the very top of the bulkhead where it meets the 'overhead', use toweling to catch any drips/runs that would 'spoil the woodwork' ... or faux-woodwork. Such application will need to be repeated at least seasonally.

Thank you I have some and I will try it. I was concerned about the bulkhead because it is beautiful woodwork in great condidtion. I'll be careful. Thanks again.

Did the squeak start over the last couple seasons? If something is working its way loose, do yourself a favor and find the emerging issue.
