Well, finally done with it. I decided to paint the bulkhead instead of stain and trying to figure out what to do with the seam, if anything. I have a sister piece screwed behind it. Now waiting for the next rain to see if it leaks. I also rebed all the hardware on the the deck including the windows. I don't what I will do if there are leaks. Thanks again for the input here. Jim
