A couple of questions on bulb sizes to save me trips up the mast - What is the bulb spec for the steaming light and masthead anchor light on an 86 H31 ? also has anyone switched either to LED, if so what was used ?

Vic: You may want to check with Dave G at SBO about replacment LED's for your 31.

Thanks, will do although I'm leaning towards replacing the mast head and steaming lights with new fixtues.

many of the LED lights are not coast guard certified, just be careful...I just had that conversation with a Coastie last week.

So if I dont want LED bulbs, anyone know what size the original steaming bulb is? Try to go aloft as little as possible. I also have a Hunter 31 , 1985

Ok, went up the mast! Bulb on steaming light is about 1 1/2 inch long, about as thick as a pencil, and has indentations at each end, not points. Getting some today, then will list model number etc
