what has Hunter done to deal with the issues you raised? (assuming you have contacted them). I think we all recognize problems occur regardless of the manufacturer and it's often more important to know how they deal with them.

Also, a few of these items are clearly work done in commissioning which you did yourself. e.g., install cockpit table, stern rail seat mounting, etc... which may be a mis-placed criticism.

Hi All Hunter owners,
I say it again, I rig the boat myselt for a simple reason, just to know more about the boat, I have crept to every corner of the boat, check everything out, normally a new owner will never do. The dealer or the rigger who do the job, regardless what the built quality is, as long they get paid. In my case I love to rig the boat, because this is my boat and secondly I have paid alot of money for it and to make sure I will do a good job on it. If you doubt my words, please crawl into your boat and take a look around and you will be surprise to see how they put all together. For your information, I did not assemble the stern rail seat and the cockpit table, the table was supposed to be installed in the factory. Warm regards: sonny

New 2009

Sonny, we purchased a new 2009 H33 (579) last fall and took delivery this spring. We have sailed her a number of times and this past weekend we overnighted in on of the bays on the lake. I must say that our experience has been the complete opposite of yours. The boat appears to be tight and everything works. There were a number of minor issues but all in all we were pleased. We also went to the factory while it was being built to see how they were built and assembled. I had no concerns while watching the process. In six months I willl let you know what I think. But right now we are satisfied.:)

Built quility

Hi All sailboat owners,

It has been 6 month since my last post on my Hunter built quaility. I have spent many hours and labour to get the boat right. Many hours between my Hunter dealer and Hunter- USA, to get the replacement and damaged parts. Hunter was good to honour all the work to be done and replaced all the parts. The water leakage to the aft cabin is through the rear deck outlet, water flowing between the gap of the rub rail and hull and seeped into the cabin. It was very difficult to detect where the water was coming from, but I am glad to say that the most of the shortcomings have been solved and I look forward to do some enjoyable sailing.
Sonny
