Our Dodger is going to need replacement inthe next year or so. I am thinking that I'd like a hard Dodger. Materials; Fiberglass over foam or plywood? Plywood. Plastic or glass windows?? Metal or wood frame?? Plans on the internet?? I don't really need a slick looking dodger but I don't want something ugly. Ideally it would be bolted in place where it would be removable. Strong enough to grab onto when needed.

hard one

before you do that, consider one or two things. are you going to want to sell the boat any time? if it's a production boat from a reputable builder, you might actually reduce its value/sellability; if it's a one-off, you might as well go ahead and do it, since you'll be keeping it for a while, one-offs are hard to sell.
