Builder's Plate

Hi Sailors,
Does anyone know where the Builder's Plate is supposed to be mounted on my Hunter H340?
Skiing is good but sailing is better!

What is a builders plate?

Probably talking the HIN (Hull Ident Number).. Should be molded into the fiberglass somewhere on the starboard stern area.. may be on transom or on the hull side just around the corner..? There is no tag like on cars that notes equipment delivered and colors and stuff like that.. but with the HIN you can talk to the factory guys and sometimes get that info if the boat is fairly young.. Unlike most power boats, most sailboats usually do not carry a builder's plate. The builder molds/stamps a HIN number on the transom and that's it. On my H340 there are a few stickers just inside of the companionway stating that the boat conforms to several standards for boats built in the USA.
