I am looking to buy a buffer to polish my boats. Any recomendations out there on which one or where to buy it? I'll buy the beer if anyone needs to practice with one.

Buffer

Rick, Try Harbor Freight catalog website. They have a buffer that they're selling for $24.95. Looks a lot like my expensive Makita. RPM for both buffing and sanding. Hey, at that price it's practically a throw away. I just might buy one as a spare.

The best

Rick, I have owned about 3 different buffer/polishers over the past two years. All of which worked marginally better than elbow grease and a clean rag. They are all presently holding down trash in my dock-box. I finally bit the bullet and bought a Porter Cable 7424. Very expensive, but absolutely the most amazing results I could have ever imagined. Here is a link. Great guys down in Florida. Scott Broad Toronto

Makita works for me

Have had and used Black&Decker, Dewalt, Bosch and Makita over the years and like the Makita best. variable speed is nice. Make sure you're getting a buffer and not a grinder as the grinders spin too fast.
