I know there is a regular here from Bronte. I am at the end of F dock tonight at the outer harbor if you get this in time and have nothing better to do and want to say hello. I am in the last slip, facing north, in between a Nonsuch and a cat docked off the end of the finger.

Good morning Higgs.

Sorry I missed you. Thursday night was race night as you probably noticed from all the boats going and coming. Little lumpy yesterday with 18 knot winds and 6 ft. waves. Hope you had a good trip across. Had I known you were coming, we could have given you a mooring in the inner harbour at no cost. I bet your wallet took a beating for a mooring in the outer harbour. Keep us posted, and let me know if you need any local information. My inner harbour mooring is B-126. West side of the creek, just south of the parking lot on Berta Point. Cheers,

We have heard there is a silting in problem up near the club, so we decided to dock in the outer harbor. Those lumpy seas kept us in as we decided not to push against them going up to Toronto - we are in no hurry, so waited until today to head north.

What do you draw?

The silting problem is only on the north east seawall of the creek which includes the visitors / crane dock. If you draw over 4'6" you may be in some silt along there. There are still slips available that can handle up to 6' draft and they would be at no cost for a couple of nights if you want. Have a safe trip.
