Ben,Stainless welding can be done with great results.The only thing I would try to find is a welder that will bring the stainless to a 2000 degree temp after welding for the longevity of the weld.r.w.landau
If you are refering to the milled aluminum base, the company that made them is long gone. Try salvage yards. I tried to locate one a year ago with no luck.Happy hunting,Bob
