How old is the toilet?

If a Jabsco manual toilet is more than 5 years old, you're prob'ly better off replacing the whole toilet than you'd be replacing ANY hardware that breaks. However, if just the handle broke, and the part with the threads is still screwed into the yoke, use pliars to unscrew that piece and order a new pump handle from Jabsco. Till it arrives, you can prob'ly cut off a section of broom handle to use as a pump handle...carefully. In fact, if you know anyone with the right tools to cut matching threads in the end of a broom handle, you can even make a new pump handle out of one. Btw...typing in all caps is the online equivilant of SHOUTING.

Broken head

My head is broken where it connects to the threaded top of the pump mechanism. I priced the new plastic replacement part a West Marine for $22. They have a complete "compact head" for $105. I'm going to check my seals and everything before I buy, but I might be cheaper and better off to replace the whole unit (if it will mount easily in the old space).

broken or unscrewed?

I have had my brand new head (less than one month old) fail because the piston in the pump came unbolted from the handle! They don't use lock nuts.
