Broken or not broken?

So before I head down the rabbit hole of locating parts for my engine I thought I’d ask my peer knowledge base first especially since we’re all captive somewhat right now lol.
So in the process of trying to align my prop shaft with engine(which the previous owner paid $5000 to the boat shop to do but they never did it and had no explanation why) I find this bolt on my forward engine mount won’t adjust? I pulled it out and it looks like it sheared in the past and someone just stuck it back in?
I’m pretty sure from looking at the yanmar part that the bolt on the mount is 1 piece not 2.
Any thoughts I just wanted to double check so I’m not replacing something that doesn’t need replaced.
see pics. Thanks in advance.

You are correct, that bolt should gave a nut below, AND above the engine mount tab. Looks sheared off.

Definitely sheared! I wonder why? Depending on their age replace all four. If fairly new then look for a reason it sheared.

Thanks that’s what I thought but just checking in case it was some weird design. Any leads on low cost Yanmar parts?

I didn’t know there was “low cost”Yanmar parts. I used after market parts last time I bought ( Universal 5411) , next ones will be for the Perkins.

I don't think that is how the bolt is supposed to look. It sounds like someone got taken. $5,000 to allign a prop shaft certainly sounds like way too much. I know many of this forum have done that job them selves.

Yeah I guess I was looking for any leads on savings of Yanmar parts but probably unlikely. Lol
Is the Universal 5411 a replacement for the Yanmar mount?

To elaborate the previous owner had to replace the prop, prop shaft etc and looks like the yard “forgot “ ? To align shaft probably because they didn’t want to replace mounts. I won’t be getting any work done there that’s for sure. Replacing all 4 myself.

When ordering new mounts they will want to know how much the engine weights. After market are not cheap either and ordering from Yanmar by engine model will assure you of the right ones.

So I just replaced all 4 motor mounts, good thing as 2 were broken and one was the wrong one. Lol
So just looking for advice as tomorrow I will be aligning shaft ant tightening things up.
questions. How critical are the gap settings manual say less than 0.2mm?
Is it worthwhile getting a flexible coupler does it make up for not perfect alignment?
Any tips advice on alignment?
Thanks in advance.
