Has anyone replaced the halyard sheave at the base of the mast? Mine has jammed and has been worn away by friction against the halyard.

West Marine has replacements
as do others I'm sure. You can drive the pin out with a punch install the replacement and drive the pin back in. When I replaced mine, I added a spare sleave to the next slot down. It's a little cheep insurance.

I've replaced and added several. Got them from US Spars in Florida. They still make masts for Hunter and will get you the correct size. They've been very helpful. You might have to search the net for their vitals.
