BROKEN ANCHOR ROLLER

Just a note to let you know that I just noticed the lower aft anchor chain one and three quarter inch white nylon roller broken on my '91 P42. No luck with West Marine, so contacted Hunter. Greg told me they have to be machined from bulk stock at $15 per, because no one mass produces them.TerryS/V Belle-Vie

Try this

Take the roller to any auto parts store and buy a replacement in the form of the polyurethene rollers used on boat trailers. They come in all flavors, surely one to fit yours.

boom rear reefing line exit blocks

On my 1991 P42 one of the white plastic blocks at the end of the boom where the reefing lines come out is broken - it appears that the blocks are held in by rivets - has anyone dealt with this to offer suggestions other than having to re-rivet? Is it a major project to replace these blocks? Thanks!
