I need to re-stain my bright work on my boat above my stove. I don’t want to re-stain the entire boat. Does anyone know what stain to use to match the original stain used.

thanks
Dave

I don't know your boat, but Hunter probably didn't 'stain' your teak brightwork.
They used an oil treatment, (the name escapes me), that has been discussed
repeatedly on this site. You could look it up in the thread archives , but...
I assume you were not the first owner and unless you can call the previous owner,
you will never know what was used in the past. But trying to match an existing finish
will be a difficult task.
So, go online to "Boatworks Today" and check out his several videos on teak treatments,
including different oils and varnishes.

Re-doing what needs it and accepting a job done well, if slightly different in shading,
should be enough. But hey, I redid all my teak and it still didn't match.
So what do I know!
