Does anyone have experience with Brig Inflatables? I saw them at the Mid America Boat Show this weekend and they looked good plus the price was right ($1180 for a 10ft PVC, 2 seats, Airfloor with 16in tubes)

My advice!?

Steve: If you are going to spend you money on PVC, just go with West Marine brand. At least you will have someone to take it back to for the warranty claim. My suggestion is to look for an Achilles that is overstock or whatever they call it (previous model years). My friends got a 10' Achilles that was about 5 year old (but new). They paid about $1400 from a local dealer. The difference is that this unit will be around in 20 years. You may be lucky too see a PVC unit in 5 years. Hypalon is what they use in the Carribean. The sun is hell on the inflatable. Fuel spills and abrasion are also a problem. It is your money, spend it however you see fit.

Brig Inflaible

I'm on my third year with a Brig inflatible. I think they have a great product for the price and service has been outstanding. Bryce S/V Spellbinder H410
