Break-In Hours

Got a new H290 last week with a 2GM20 engine. Dealer said to run at 2,000 RPM to about 10 hours for break-in. Then I can run it up to 2,600 RPM for normal running. Is this true? Nothing in the manual. Output speed is 3400 RPM and one hour rating is 3600 RPM. What should my break in be and then running RPM.

run engine as suggested by dealer(I would also change oil after ten hours of break in use)the 2600 rpm rating is the "cruise" range for the engine, 34/3600 rpm are wide open throttle ratings.
