I am doing volunteer work for various Boy Scout Camps rebuilding their sailboat fleets.

Recently, a 1975 Balboa was donated to the Blue Ridge Mts. Council as they need a trailerable sailboat for their program. Unfortuantely, I had to nix that boat as the deck and the companionway bulkhead were rotted and it would not be worth to fix the boat up.

I am looking for a good clean sailboat 22 to 26 feet in length with trailer and motor. Is there anyone looking to donate a good clean boat. Remember this can be a tax right off. Please, no junkers.

Good luck with this, CD! You might want to check with the charities that solicit car & boat donations to see if they have anything that can be used for the cause. In my area, the Scouts used to have a donation program and I'm told they still have a lot somewhere with items left over from this effort.

Of course, you can always do what we did in my son's troop and build your own!
