Bow Rollers

My bow roller manufacturer fell through. Does anyone have a manufacturer for the double bow roller setup? Maybe someone that has produced them before that I can call and say, "build me the one you built for Mr. or Mrs. Vega Owner." I'd prefer someone in the US, but will take a recommendation from a trusted supplier elsewhere.

Thanks,
Jack

Any Machine shop can make bow rollers. Just take them around to a
several machine shops and get a price on getting them made. You may not
be able to buy them off the shelf anyplace. If you are capable of making
a drawing of them put it online and ask for bids. You may get more bides
than you would ever expect.

Also if it's just the holes in the rollers a machine shop can bore them
out a little bigger and make bushings to go in them. You may need new
shafts as well as they may be wiorn small and out of round. But it is
all most likely fixable. Doug

Hi

Ive made several Bow Rollers for Vega owners across teh world but I am having trouble finding a stainless steel guy in the uk that works to the quality I want. The guy that used to do the welding no longer works in the trade. If anyone knows of a guy in the UK then let me know.

Cheers

Steve - Do you have a set of drawings I can use to have them quoted here? Alternatively, if you find someone in the UK, can I possibly purchase a set from you? What have you charged for them and what is the lead time?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi All

New drawings are being done as we talk. I have found a new stainless guy is is pretty good so hopefully will have Bow Rollers back in production very soon. Have a look at teh files/photos section for photographs of the double bow roller.

Cheers

Steve - Sounds good. Let me know when you are ready to go, lead time and cost. I am hoping to launch in mid-May...so perhaps we'll get lucky and timing will work out.
