Bow roller anchor clearance

I'm interested in Steve's bow roller but am concerned about the
clearance between the anchor and hull. I have a 10 kg rocna that I want
to leave mounted on the roller. I don't want to worry about it ever
touching.

The clearance is of course specific to the type anchor. Does anyone
have experience with the rocna or similiar shaped anchor (spade, delta)
on Steve's roller. My lunch hook is a 8 kg Bruce. Comments on it would
be appreciated too.

I?ve recently bought a 10 kg Rocna ? there is not much clearance ? from
memory about 5cm. I?m thinking of putting the anchor on chocks on the
foredeck ? to be honest the clearance on the Rocna is not much worse than my
7.5 kg Bruce ? but the Rocna is a lot more pointy! Also toyed with the idea
about getting a stainless steel plate made for the bow where the danger of
damage exists.No virus found in this outgoing message.
