Bow pulpit

Does anyone know where to get a new bow pulpit for a 1986 H23 - mine got hurt by a big bad stray boat during hurricane Floyd last summer and is bent back and to one side. Alternatively, has anyone had experience repairing one of these rails, to me it must be very difficult to work stainless steel without heating it, and heat discolors stainless... Stainless

I can't speak to how easy it would be for you to repair your bow rail, but I can clarify about heating stainless. Yes, heat will discolor stainless, but the discoloration buffs right out with scotch brite pads or rubbing compound. The best is scotch brite circular buffing pads. This will shine stainless like chrome.... takes some time though.
