Hi, Would anyone have any recommendations for a bow ladder for a First 35? The bow is quite high so whenever we are at a harbor bow first with a low pontoon it's quite cumbersome to get in and out of the boat. Any specific models that you've found to fit the First 35 bow well?

I don't know of anything specifically for that application. Without going custom this is what

You may need longer feet (There is at least one on the search) to hold the ladder further from the hull. You will need to have handholds above the ladder to pull yourself up to the top steps and for safety. I think this model has imbedded female hardware placed into the topsides. I don't have much use for the hoop type unless they mount into a metal keeper (Key hole).

I carry a plastic 2 step that I set on the dock to aid in boarding our boat.
Made by rubber made, it has a 300lb capacity. Folds flat and sits neatly in the lazaret. Single line tied off to a stanchion so as not to leave the slip without it.
There are also the Fender Ladders which can be tied off to the stanchion or rail.

Not an answer, I know.... but I find it interesting that while here in the PNW we would typically stern-tie if unable to go alongside, in Scandinavia it's a 'bow in' situation. I'm surprised that tradition hasn't fallen given the almost universal arrangement of low/accessible stern platforms or access on most boats these days.
To the OP: What would happen if you suddenly decided to back in and easily step off the stern platform(assuming we're talking about a dock???
Edited to add... even when anchoring and putting a line ashore it's usually a stern tie - obviously a bit further off the beach for rudder clearance.
