Bow Guard

I have a 2006 Hunter 31 and I am trying to see if there is some one that manufactures a bow guard. I am looking for something in stainless steel that will help protect the leading edge when raising and lowering the anchor. If anyone has any insight please let me know.

Not sure where you're located but it really shouldn't be hard to find someone locally to fabricate something for you out of Stainless. It doesn't have to be terribly thick, just needs to have the proper radius to conform to the bow. Dufour Yachts offered one as an option on many of their models. Very simple but effective. Many of the Cribbean charter operators also fit thier boats with them so one of them may be able to point you in the right direction. Here in Annapolis, Kato Marine would probably be the go to guys. They'd need you to take some measurements or make a paper pattern but could most likely help you out.
