Wow!
You can get to the inside of the bow where the attachment of the bow eye is fixed by removing the panel in the forward end of the vberth. I suggest a complete repair from both the inside and outside with a good strong backing plate for the new eye. Good Luck. Bob Gravenstine S/V Gravyboat
