Bow anchor roller

I am looking for an anchor roller on my 1988 Hunter 35. The roller WIDTH needs to be 2 1/4 inches or just slightly smaller. West Marine has 1 3/4 and 3 inch rollers. I have tried unsuccessfully to use fender washers to fill the gap, but the rode gets pinched. Cutting one down may be an option. Any suggestions? There is no name or number on the assembly. Gary, A machine shop should be able to make a roller for you very easily. I saw someone do this once on a mill with a fly cutter and rotary table mounted at an angle. He was able to make any size roller just by varying the angle of the table. Have them make the new roller out of high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW PE) or Delrin. Both should stand up well to sunlight and be impact resistant. Allan

Thanks Allan, I have taken a boat trailer roller and used a grinder to make it the proper size. If this works even for a short time, then I will get the high density poly and machine it to size. Gary
