Hey all,

Let just say that while we are still VERY fascinated and in LOVE with our O'Day 25 we found a 1968 O'Day Daysailor in excellent plus condition too hard to pass up.

Yeah she is old but damn if she isnt very sea worthy.

And for $400 bucks including a serviceable trailor............. Well I guess I just have the addiction.

Anyways... Got her home yesterday and cleaned up a little got her rigged today and am going to the lake tomorrow for a few trial runs before the Cape Cod trip next week.

It seems like 16'9" of day sailing coolness.

Pics attached here.

Beautiful boat. I have one just like it that languished in a barn for 30 some odd years. It was intact with all of the accessories. Hope you enjoy.

We had a BLAST!!!!!!!

This was great experience on many levels and frankly the biggest bonus was the enthusiasm my wife felt from sailing such a simple straightforward boat.

Take care!

Oddly enough I have a DS1 and I'm looking for an O'day 25 as a matching set;-).

IMHO, after having smaller and larger boats, the DS1 is the nicest of them all for daysailing. In just minutes I'm on the water and it is a joy to sail!
