Has anyone had any experience with Bluewater Marine Paint (ablative)? Pricing seem much more reasonable than Interlux and I was wondering if the stuff works as well or not.

Not in NY

Wacko environmentalists now in control -- you cannot paint your own bottom now -- only those who are licensed applicators.

Are you serious

With all the other problems this is what they worry about, thats great, your law makers hard at work. At least you can still sit there and breath, you know that does produce a lot of CO2, that can't be good, NY & NJ will probably restrict that next.

Before you get all insulted about my NJ comments you should know I was borned and raised in NJ. Had boats and houses at the NJ shore most of my life and have lived thru the clam police, flounder police the clueless marine police(who don't know which boat has the right of way I might add, the little blue light on the top needs to be on proir to casting all navigation rule aside), mandatory jet ski lic and I have been crashed into while fishing (not in the marked channel) by a 23' Sea Ray. The place is a 3 ring marine circus. My wife and daughter were stopped by the marine police while sailing a sunfish. The cops got their rule book and spent 15mins looking thru it trying to find out which law they were breaking, there has to be one(they had no clue), the correct answer was NO LAWS WERE BEING BROKEN. Sorry, Iam done.
