Does anyone know if Hunter recommends a specific type of bottom paint for its composite material? Thanks Joe M.

Bottom Paint H216
My purchase sherment included 2 coats of bottom paint. The dealer contacted Hunter Composites and they advised a thorough cleaning of the bottom using a dewaxer followed by 2 coats of VC 17. My boat is kept at the slip in fresh water for 7 months. The bottom paint worked really well. Gary

I checked on this with Hunter about a year ago and the bottom paint recommended at that time was Interlux Bottomkote ACT Gray White #7740. Also, the gray white color was the only color that was recommended.
