I need to paint the bottom of my Oday 20. I will be sailing on an inland lake. Any recommendations of the kind of bottom paint I should use?

what is the painting proceedure?
Hi - saw your topic and wanted to ask questions regarding 'how to': I consider myself a 'do it yourself novice' and I am trying to learn how to paint my boats bottom (that sounds funny!). What are the steps? sanding (how)? pressure washing? do you need to put on a 'primer' of some sort before painting? How do you get to the spots of your hull that are resting on the trailer? Not to mention how do you access the swing keel? Would it be simpler to just have a yard do it? How expensive is that? Thanks for any advice. DPT
