Hunter 36 Punta Gorda
Well I finally did bring my Hunter-36 down to Florida and for now
it is on the east coast on the hard until I can sail it around the Keys
to Punta Gorda where I will keep it but before I do put her back in the water
I would like to give her some new bottom paint.
So what do you use on the bottom of your sailboat and how often
do you haul for new bottom paint,I will be diving her to keep her clean.

Hunter 29.5 Punta Gorda
I have pettit Trinidad SR on my Hunter 29.5 and interlux in my Cal 27. Both work well here in Punta Gorda. I live on the canals in PGI and was told by the diver I have on retainer (cleans about 3 times a year) that where you are in the canals effects how much growth you have. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I hope to get 2 years out of the trinidad. The Cal will be for sale

Hunter 35.5 Legend Lake Travis-Austin,TX
The Pettit Trinidad is a modified hard epoxy and works great in Florida waters and farther south as well. Look for it online to save money. Like Sailm8, make sure and dive on it yourself or hire someone to do it regularly. While my 35.5 was in Panama City,FL., I could get by for about 3 months in colder weather, but dove on it almost monthly during summer months.
