Hello all, need input for painting bottom of 22 on the trailor? If this is ridiculous guide me down the path..22 in Michigan Existing Bottom paint is a rusty red and very powdery to touch, no salt water I am in sunny Az now jim

You may not need anti fouling paint if the boat is going to live on a trailer and be sailed in freshwater.

I store my Cat 22 on a boatlift on a Minnesota lake but would like to paint the bottom not out of concern for fouling but rather to make her look nice. Any suggestion on paint?

Hard to imagine a drysailed boat on a freshwater lake in Minnessota would have any issues with fouling but if you are going to paint, you need to use an ablative. Hard paints cannot withstand prolonged exposure to air.
