Hunter 23' Boom

I have a 1987 Hunter 23 and am trying to run the main and ? to the cockpit. However, being a newby I can not figure out the 3 lines coming from the bow part of the boom. Two of the lines are relatively long and would reach the cockpit the 3rd line has a knot in it and it is about a foot long and hangs from the middle portion. The other 2 hang port and starboard of the boom. The boom has toothed parts to hold the line. I am trying to figure out if I need one rope clutch, a double, or a triple. I have the plans of how to do it just need to figure out how many. I know one of the line goes to the stern. I have pulled it and it tightened the line and it drew the stern end of the sail tight.
