On deck works too
Hi all,For winter storage, the sail comes off and the boom is on the salon table lashed to the compression post as mentioned in previous posts. However, especially for summer trailer sailing to different locations, I have left the sail and sail cover on the boom and lashed it to the stantions securly so it can't move fore aft or sideways. Also secure the sail cover well, esp. at the ends so that it doesn't flap. This makes setup/take down a little less work and keeps the cabin clear. Also can lash the mast pole to stantions. I sometimes lash it to trailer, under the bow (runing fore/aft.).Fair winds,Tom
