looking to install a boom vang. i recall somewhere in the dim, dark past that there were recommendations as to the placement of the bale on the boom and the same on the mast. anyone out there have the reference...or the answer?
Look closley at the Garhaur solid Vang. Got one 2-3 years ago for $250 delivered, and it is a very well made item. Love it on my C30. Comes with instructions on just where to mount it on boom and mast base.
had one on my 27 and thought it was great. when the market turns around i'll probably get another, but right now i have the hardware and the line, so, for the time being, i'll just be old fashioned.
