Boom vang repair

Has anyone had experience repairing a profurl rigid boom vang. Mine has lost all power. It is on a hunter 310 with in boom furling.

You may want to tae a look at the Garhauer rigid vangs. It maybe less expensive than rebuilding your existing one. The can usually adapt their units to your existing mounts.

Looks like lots of information on the Profurl website. http://www.profurl.com/in-boom-furlers.html have you called customer service? I had some questions on a furling unit about ten years ago and the service rep was very helpful.... sent me parts, tips on installation etc....
