Rigging question re: 1983 O'Day 28. I'm not sure if other O'Days from this period are equipped in a similar fashion but my boat has what I call a Boom-to-Main Pivot Block that attaches the boom to the main. It's an odd piece of hardware. It's 2 pieces of round plastic (about a 1 1/2 inches in diameter) that have 2 metal clips that fasten it together. It is then attached to the boom and then pivoted into a receptacle on the main. This locks in to keep the two fastened together. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen one of these pieces available for sale? Unfortunately, after years of worrying about losing the piece, the boat yard lost it this year.

Rig Rite

Try going to www.rigrite.com. They're in RI and website has pretty extensive list of Isomat parts which I'm guessing is what is on your boat.
