Today I tried to take the boom off of my Hunter 30 and found the horizontal stainless steel pivot pin welded/frozen/solidly stuck in the aluminum wishbone mast tabernacle. So out came the penetrating oil and the propane torch and the mallet. After three circuits around the problem the pin won and I quit for the day. Any suggestions on how to break the pin free would be appreciated. Thanks Ray
