Boom preventer

What attachement points should I use in order to install a boom preventer which would allow me to prevent the boom "slapping" in waves when the wind is astern or on the beam?

Boom Lock.

Fit a Scott Boomlock.This is an excellent bit of gear.I fitted one to my H42 two years ago.Gybes are easy and no more uncontrolled ones.No mare sailand boom slapping downwind.Their address is Scott Design,Hanley Castle,Worcester WR 8 0BJ.
