Boom part, what is it?

Hi folks, please tell me what this broken piece at the end of the boom is called so when I ask Rudy if he has it I will sound like I know what I am talking about, (Even though I don't)!Thanks a ton!Jack HartHickory, NC

Jack the area is the gooseneck,

A reefing hook may be an alternative fix.

It is attached at the bolt/ pin that connects the gooseneck. See the link for the part.r.w.landau

Gooseneck casting

When I broke mine I replaced it by ordering a "gooseneck casting w/ tack pin" from Rudy at DR Marine. (See link below).Mine was on an O'day 23. Which model is yours?
