Boom Height/Bimini/H26

I want to put a Bimini on my 94 H26. How high is the boom. I have not stepped the mast yet so I can't measure it. How high should my Bimini be so it clears the boom. Also what is better, rail mount or sliders? Should I go with a 6 ft or 7 ft Bimini I have the stern seats on the railings. Last question...does the traveler get in the way?

This site sells the biminis for your boat. Reasonable, well made and custom fit to your boat. It comes in a 4 or 6 foot length. You can order it with stainless steel rods or aluminum which is cheaper but works. The folks here will back it up,

Instructions will come with it. It will clear the boom but the attachment of the mainsheet on the boom will need to be moved forward. I was a former dealer involved with the design of that bimini as a former dealer for Hunter. Heck, I introduced the actual mfg. to Hunter.

Do you have stern rails on your 94 h26? I may have a deal for you on a beautiful unused Bimini from this site.

The boom will clear it and, as Dave points out, you'll need to move the bale on the boom for the mainsheet but only if you get the 6ft version which is the one I have. Alternatively, you can fold back the forward portion on the 6ft bimini if you don't want to move the mainsheet. Then at anchor, you can extend it fully with the boom off to the side. Get the SS one though. Very sturdy.

Thanks for the quick responses. I have stern rails, so I'd think I would need the 6ft version?
