Boom fitting/bimini

Quick question (I hope) I now have a bimini on my '94 26, so I have to move that eye fitting on the boom up aways so it will clear. My question is, how have you who have done this done this? Did you move it or replace it (my choice I think). If you replaced it, what did you use -- a part from Hunter, or something off the shelf? Thanks, Michael

Michael I have a 1997 H26 that has two main sheet attachment points on the boom. I move my MMS to the forward tang when I use the binini and I move it to the aft position at other times. I have a wheel an mine(added by the previous owner)and adjusting the MS is actually easier if I keep it attached to the forward tang all the time.

Thanks -- so is the forward padeye the same as the aft -- the sliding kind with rivets?

Oh, and if you slide the aft one forward -- is riveting preferable -- and if so, what size rivets? Thanks much, Michael
